Victor Yeimo, Ketua Umum KNPB mengkonfirmasi tewasnya pengurus KNPB, Hubertus Mabel, di Wamena. Hubert tewas setelah ditangkap oleh polisi bersama Natalius Alua.
“Hubertus Mabel, pengurus Komisariat Militan KNPB Pusat di Wamena siang tadi pukul 12.00 tewas setelah ditembak polisi. Malam ini mayat sedang diantar oleh Polisi dari RSUD Wamena. Ketua KNPB Baliem Simion Dabi, dan Ketua KNPB Yalimo Wene Gombo juga ditangkap kemarin (15/16).” kata Victor Yeimo kepada tabloidjubi.com, Minggu (16/12) malam.
Menurut Yeimo, Hubert ditangkap hidup-hidup. Ini seperti dituturkan oleh seorang saksi warga di Milima. Saat itu, polisi menodong Meky Kogoya dan Wene Gombo Polisi memaksa keduanya untuk menunjukkan keberadaan Hubert. Tak lama kemudian, Hubert tertangkap bersama Natalis Alua di Kampung Abusak, Distrik Kurulu.
“Jam 6 sore kita kaget kalau Hubert ditemukan tewas di rumah sakit. Malam ini Natalis Alua juga meninggal di rumah sakit.” lanjut Yeimo.
Kabid Humas Polda Papua, AKBP I Gede Sumerta Jaya, S.Ik, kepada tabloidjubi.com menyebutkan Hubert tewas karena kehabisan darah. Sebelumnya, kata Kabid Humas Polda, dua anggota Tim Khusus (Timsus) Polda Papua telah menangkap Meki Kogoya dan Wene Gombo yang dituduh memiliki amunisi. Keduanya diminta menunjukkan dimana keberadaan Hubert. Oleh Meki dan Wene, dua anggota polisi ini diantar menuju Kampung Abusak, Distrik Kurulu. Di kampung inilah Hubert ditangkap bersama Natalius. Hubert, menurut Kabid Humas, ditangkap karena diduga sebagai pelaku pengeboman di Wamena dan penyerangan Polsek Pirime.
Lanjut Kabid Humas, sebelum ditangkap, Hubert sempat akan merebut senjata salah satu anggota Timsus.
“Terjadi saling rebut senjata antara petugas dan Hubert yang tidak mengindahkan permintaan polisi untuk tiarap. Karena salah satu anggota melihat senjata hampir direbut oleh Hubert, maka anggota itu menembak kaki Hubert untuk melumpuhkannya. Hubert kemudian dibawa ke Rumah Sakit. Tapi karena banyak kehilangan darah, Hubert tak tertolong lagi.” kata Kabidhumas Polda Papua.
Namun Yeimo membantah keterangan Kabid Humas ini. Menurut Yeimo, saksi di Kampung Milima menyaksikan polisi masuk ke kampung dengan kekuatan penuh.
“Masyarakat lihat semua. Bagaimana Hubert mau rebut senjata sedangkan Polisi sisir masuk dengan kekuatan penuh?” kata Yeimo.

DAP : Kami Terus Dibunuh, Apa Salah Kami?

Wamena (10/12) — Dewan Adat Papua wilayah Baliem, Pegunungan Tengah, Papua mempertanyakan keberadaan warga Papua yang diselimuti ketidakadilan, penderitaan, dan sebagai korban pelanggaran Hak Asasi Manusia.
Ketua Dewan Adat Suku Hubulu, mengatakan, mereka justru menderita di atas tanah yang mereka tempati.
“Apa salah kami kepada pengusaha sehingga kami terus dibunuh, Tuhan apa salah kami? Kalau kami diperlakukan seperti ini di negeri leluhur kami, kami tidak pecaya lagi pada pemerintah,” kata  Ketua DAP Baliem kepada wartawan di Honai DAP, Wamena, Papua, Senin (10/12) malam.
Selain itu, masyarakat adat mempertanyakan hak asasi manusia  sesungguhnya.  Mereka mempertanyakan, pelanggaran HAM di Papua dinilai sebagai tameng untuk menyembunyikan kepentingan penguasa di Indonesia.
“Kami rakyat Papua tidak lagi percaya dengan pemerintah dan adanya Komnas HAM,” kata Ketua DAP Baliem lagi.
Anggota DNP Pegunungan Tengah, Alpius Wetipo melanjutkan, warga Pegunungan Tengah bingung dengan kehadiran aparat keamanan, sebab, kehadiran aparat keamanan justru menakutkan warga Papua, bukan membawa kedamaian.
“Aparat keamanan tidak menghargai kami rakyat Papua, mereka memperlakukan kami seperti sampah,” kata Alpius Wetipo.
Kepala Kepolisian Negara Bagian Papua Barat wilayah Lapago, Pegunungan Tengah, Amos Wetipo mengatakan, jika rakyat Papua berteriak menyuarakan pelanggaran HAM dan ketidakadilan, aparat justru menjadikan momen tersebut sebagai lahan untuk mengintimidasi dan membunuh rakyat Papua.
Karena menurut dia, sebaikanya masalah Papua diselesaikan dengan cara dialog Jakarta-Papua, sebelum adanya pemekaran, Pemilukada Gubernur/Wakil Gubernur Provinsi Papua.
Hal senada dikatakan Ketua Dewan Adat Suku Yali, Ismail Omaldoman. Ismail mengatakan, hendaknya dihentikan tindakan kekerasan terhadap orang Papua.

Tapol Papua Lumpuh di Lapas, Akhirnya Meninggal

Wamena (13/12) — Salah satu tahanan politik (tapol) di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) kelas II B Wamena, Jayawijay,a Papua, Kanius Murib meninggal setelah mengalami sakit yang parah di Lapas itu.
Menurut penuturan keluarga Kanius, Sem Kalolik kepada tabloidjubi.com di Wamena, Kamis (13/12), Kanius meninggal setelah menderita sakit selama 22 kali di Lapas, dan tiga kali di rumahnya.
“Selama 12 tahun di Lapas, ia sakit 22 kali. Lembaga tidak mampu sehingga dibawa ke keluarga. Kakinya keras, tidak bisa jalan, otaknya terpisah,” kata Sem di Wamena, Kamis.
Bulan ini, lanjut Sem, Murib mulai sakit-sakitan lagi. Selasa, 11 Desember 2012, pukul 06.30 waktu Papua, akhirnya Kanius Murib meninggal dunia. Selasa sore, sekitar pukul 16.00 mereka membakar jenazahnya sesuai tradisi suku itu.
“Kakinya berat. Waktu diantar, pakai mobil. Keluarga yang minta karena ia sakit terus. Kurang lebih sudah satu tahun di rumah,” kata Sem lagi.
Hosea Murib, salah satu anggota keluarga Kanius melanjutkan, selama almarhum sakit di Lapas, dokter yang memeriksa dia tidak pernah memberikan penjelasan kepada pihak keluarga. Namun diketahui, kakinya lumpuh. Mereka menduga, Kanius lumpuh akibat siksaan selama di Lapas.
“Pikirannya mulai tidak waras. Selama di dalam Lapas, terganggu jiwanya. Kami kecewa. Kami sudah sampaikan kepada Komnas HAM, tetapi sampai sekarang tidak jelas,” kata Hosea Murib.
Plt. Kepala Lapas Kelas IIB Wamena, Daniel Rumsowek mengaku jika warga binaan Lapas itu meninggal karena sakit yang lama. Atas permintaan keluarga Kanius, Lapas mengijinkan dia agar dirawat di rumah keluarga. Karena itu, Daniel berterima kasih kepada pihak keluarga yang merawat Kanius.
“Penyakitnya, tahun 2010. Karena sakit terus akhirnya keluarga bawa. Memang terjadi sebelum saya,” kata Daniel.
Mantan Wakil Ketua Komnas HAM Papua, Matius Murib mengatakan, wajar jika keluarga kecewa. Komnas HAM sudah melakukan penyelidikan, dan kasus itu masuk dalam kategori pelanggaran HAM berat.
“Secara umum mereka kecewa dan kasusnya belum tuntas. Kita dulu sudah melakukan penyelidikan. Bukti cukup kuat. Komnas HAM yakin itu pelanggaran HAM berat. Kejaksaan agung harusnya serahkan ke Komnas HAM. Selama ini korban dan keluarga sedang menunggu,” kata Matius.

Jayapura, (16/12)—Bunyi tembakan masih terdengar hingga pukul 23.00 WIT, di Wamena. Sudah satu jam sejak baku tembak antara aparat keamanan dengan kelompok yang diduga melakukan balas dendam atas tertembaknya seorang pemimpin Komite Nasional Papua Barat (KNPB).
Seorang warga melaporkan melalui situs laporan warga tabloidjubi.com/hotspot telah terjadi baku tembak di kota Wamena sejak pukul 22.25.
“Pukul:10:25 wp terjadi penembakan antara TPN-OPM dan TNI POLRI. Tempat kejadian dari Pasar Misi sampai di Sinakma, Jln. Yosudarso sekitarnya. Saat ini situasi kota Wamena tidak aman mohon dukungan dan pantau.” demikian laporan warga di situs tersebut, Minggu (16/12) malam, sekitar pukul 23.00 WIT.
